What makes us what we are? What are we really looking for?

Simbalò has done nothing else all his life: to seek the love of his mother, that maternal love that he has never felt. For this he followed in his father's footsteps with a thousand sacrifices. For this he became a feared lion throughout the savannah. For this he was attacked by hyenas.

 

When I met him he was all alone under his acacia tree. He wore a large bandage on his head and seemed to have lost his memory. - You want to be my friend? - He asked me. This is how I discovered his story, this is how I found myself crossing the savannah with him, up to the snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro, in the only possible journey: the one to meet our fears.
